Instructions Instructions: *************************** 1-05 great but the finnan haddie is hard to find, got this a soveignors *************************** 1 lb finnan haddie 4 tb butter 3 tb flour 1 1/2 c milk salt pepper 1 cup boiled potatoes diced 1 tb chopped fresh dill 1 tb chopped parsley put fish in pan and cover with water bring to boil over medium heat cook 10 minutes remove fish from pan and drain remove skin and bones and flake the fish heat 3 tb butter in saucepan stir in flour cook gently 2 minutes off the heat stir in the milk return to heat and stir constantly until thickened add salt and pepper to taste simmer 12-15 minutes combine flaked fish with sauce add potatoes and dill pour in to shallow baking dish and dot surface with the remaining 1 tb butter bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes until lightly browned sprinkle with chopped parsley Notes: ********** RECIPE ENDS ******** This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
