2 tb butter
2 tb flour
1/2 t salt
1 c milk
1/2 c grated sharp cheese
2 tb lemon juice
1 lb haddock fillet
bread crumbs

melt butter in saucepan
add flour and salt and stir till blended
slowly add milk and bring to boil
remove from heat
stir in cheese and lemon juice until smooth
arrange haddock in greased shallow baking dish
pour sauce over fish
sprinkle with bread crumbs
bake at 350 for 30 minutes
