Instructions Instructions: *************** 5-05 very good **************** 1 tb oil, divided cooking spray 1 1/2 lb beef stew meat 3/4 t salt 1 1/2 c chopped onion 1/2 c chopped green pepper 1 tb minced garlic 2 t finely chopped jalapeno 2/3 c dry red wine 1 1/2 tb brown sugar 1 1/2 t ground ancho chili pepper 1 t dried oregano 1 t ground red pepper 1/2 t chili powder 1/4 t gtound cumin 1/4 t ground coriander 1/8 t ground connamon 1 28 oz can whole tomatos, undrained and chopped 1 15 oz can dark red kidney beans 1 15 oz can hot chili beans garnish with monteray jack, chopped onion, cilantro etc heat 1 t oil in large dutch oven coated with cooking spray sprinkle beef with salt saute half of beef till browned and remove saute remaining beef and remove add 2 t oil add onion and bell pepper and saute 3 minutes add garlic and jalapeno and saute 1 minute add wine scrapping up any loose browned bits return beef to pan stir in remaining ingredients bring to boil simmer 1 1/2 hours or till beef is tender Notes: ********** RECIPE ENDS ******** This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
