Instructions Instructions: *** 6-05 cooked on grill no wood chips-good *** 2 cups wood chips 8 med sweet onions 1 can 16 ox bush country style baked beans 1/4 c dark brown sugar 1/2 c red bbq sauce 4 tb butter room temp 2 strips bacon precooked cut in to 2 inch pieces black pepper soak chips and drain set up grill for indirect cooking cut off onion stems and peel hollow out onions leaving base intact finely chop removed onion in mixing bowl combine beans, onions, sugar, and bbq sauce spoon mixture into onions top with 1/2 tb butter, pepper and piece of bacon arrange on grill not over fire add wood chips grill 40 to 60 minutes until golden brown Notes: ********** RECIPE ENDS ******** This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
