Instructions Instructions: *** 10-29-2012 and still very good *** 11-29-2009 still very good and easy, i fixed the reipe so it is correct (helps eh) remember there are 3 items to top the spaghetti with *** 10-28-06 easy very good and sort of different, i did add the crisped bacon back in as the recipe seems to leave that step out *** 1 lb spaghetti salt 1 tb olive oil 3 slices smokey bacon chopped 1 lb ground sirloin 1 med onion chopped 3 or 4 garlic cloves chopped ground black pepper 2 t hot sauce 1 tb worcestershire 1/2 cup beer 14 oz can chopped or crushed fire roasted tomatoes 8 oz can tomato sauce 8 oz sharp cheddar 4 scallions trimmed and chopped salt and pepper cook the spaghetti al dente and drain heat skillet and add oil and chopped bacon brown and crisp the bacon for 5 minutes, remove with slotted spoon to paper towel lined plate leave enuf oil in the pan to cook drain off the rest if needed add beef and crumble as it browns add onions and garlic and stir into the meat season with hot sauces salt and pepper and worcestershire add beer and deglaze the pan cook 6 minutes more sir in tomatos and tomato sauce add the hot cooked spaghetti to tthe meat sauce and combine adjust seasoning and serve in shallow bowls and sprinkle with grated cheese and scallions garnish with bacon Notes: This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
