Made this last night & I must say it was yummy & easy. Used regular frozen peas and did not defrost them and added to shrimp while frozen, cover the pot for a few minutes as it does not take long for the peas to thaw. Served it over pasta and added some pasta water to this shrimp dish as needed more liquid than the recipe stated. This dish will definitely be in rotation at our home.

This looks delish! I have 2 huge bags of shrimp and have been looking for ideas. Do you have other suggestions besides peas that could be used? We don’t like peas. Broccoli? Anything else? Thank you!!!

I was wondering the same thing, green peas are high in sugar which is not good for me. I do love peas though.

Asparagus would be a good substitute for the peas. Or just leave them out altogether. this sounds fantastic, and I may need to make it for dinner tonight!
