This shrimp recipe is great as an appetizer at a larger gathering.
Wine, celery seeds, and Worcestershire add flavor to the marinade.

Ingredients:

ò 2 1/2 lbs cooked, peeled and deveined large shrimp.
ò 1 large sweet onion thinly sliced
ò Marinade ingredients:
ò 2 bay leaves
ò 1 1/2 cups Salad Oil
ò 1 4-oz bottle capers (undrained)
ò 3/4 cup white vinegar
ò 2 1/2 teaspoons celery seeds
ò 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
ò 1 or 2 dashes bottled hot pepper sauce
ò Salt and Pepper to tase
ò 1/4 Cup Sugar
ò 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
ò 1/4 cup dry white wine
Method:

Layer shrimp and sliced onion in large bowl. Combine marinade
ingredients. Pour marinade over layered shrimp and onion and
refrigerate overnight. Drain before serving.
