12-16-19 good add peas last so they don't get mushy...hmmm, or add some cooked bacon!!!

Very easy. Great with steak or fish.
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 Cup green peas, thawed if frozen
8 oz fresh mushrooms thinly sliced
1 teaspoon white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
1 pinch black pepper
Cook peas according to package directions. Set aside.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in mushrooms, then season with sugar, salt, thyme and pepper. Reduce heat to low, and cook
add peas and cook till heated thru.
