I came across an envelope of hand-written recipes that my husbandís mom had passed along to him many moons ago when he moved out on his own. It was interesting to go through them and find new recipes that I knew that he had liked at one time or another.

The first recipe I decided to make was this one! I also made an additional casserole and sent it to a friend that had just had a baby. I immediately got a text message telling me how much they enjoyed it. In addition, or toddler son inhaled this like it was his last supper! I was so excited about that because he is a bit of a purest when it comes to food (he doesnít like mixed casseroles usually). He liked this!

So I highly suggest it as a family-friendly meal! And if your family usually orders a pizza with lots of additional toppings, feel free to add those to the mix.
