Instructions *** 7-06 very good, needs a little more spice *** 2 tb olive oil 1 lb extra lg shrimp peeled and deveined 1 lb med scallops tendons removed 4 tb unsalted butter 6 med garlic cloves minced 1/4 c lemon juice 3 tb dry vermouth or white wine 2 tb minced fresh parsley leaves 1/8 t cayenne salt pepper heat 1 tb olive oil in 12 " skillet till almost smoking add shrimp and cook till just opaque transfer shrimp to medium bowl return pan to heat add 1 tb oil add scallops and cook until just opaque transfer scallops to bowl with shrimp return skillet to heat and melt 1 tb butter add garlic and cook about 30 seconds turn off heat add lemon juice and wine return pan to med heat and simmer until sauce thickens slightly whisk in remaining 3 tb butter add parsley and cayenne and season with salt and peper remove pan from heat add shrimp and scallops along with juices toss to combine serve immediately Exported from Home Cookin 5.4 (www.mountain-software.com) This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
