2 tb olive oil
1 lb extra lg shrimp peeled and deveined
1 lb med scallops tendons removed
4 tb unsalted butter
6 med garlic cloves minced
1/4 c lemon juice
3 tb dry vermouth or white wine
2 tb minced fresh parsley leaves
1/8 t cayenne salt pepper
heat 1 tb olive oil in 12 " skillet till almost smoking add shrimp and cook till just opaque
transfer shrimp to medium bowl
return pan to heat add 1 tb oil add scallops and cook until just opaque transfer scallops to bowl with shrimp return skillet to heat
and melt 1 tb butter add garlic and cook about 30 seconds
turn off heat
add lemon juice and wine
return pan to med heat and
simmer until sauce thickens slightly whisk in remaining 3 tb butter
add parsley and cayenne and
