Thanksgiving Dinner Casserole - This turkey and stuffing casserole combines your favorite Thanksgiving flavors in an easy dish.

One of my favorite meals of the year is Thanksgiving dinner. I think a lot of people share that sentiment. There isn’t another meal that says home, family and tradition more than that one meal. But why should we have to wait a whole year to have it? I have combined the best elements of Thanksgiving dinner in one casserole. This Turkey and Stuffing Casserole can be prepared the day before and refrigerated, making it a great dish for those days that are packed with after school activities. Don’t you just love quick fix casseroles?

You will need:
Country Crock Spread
2 potatoes
1 box of stuffing mix
10 oz of cooked, chopped turkey
1 cup of turkey gravy
Milk for mashed potatoes
1/2 cup of dried cranberries

Ingredients for Thanksgiving Dinner Casserole
Country Crock Spread
Prepare a box of stuffing according to the package directions.
Prepare mashed potatoes using two potatoes. Everyone has their own way to make mashed potatoes. Use your favorite recipe. Ours includes milk, Country Crock Spread and salt and pepper.
mashed potatoes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13×9 casserole dish. I love this set from Pyrex. I used Country Crock to grease it and just spread it around with my fingers.
Quick fix casserole
Add the mashed potatoes to the casserole dish and spread them out to form an even layer.
mashed potatoes
Spread 1/3 cup of gravy over the mashed potatoes.

Add the chopped turkey to the casserole along with salt and pepper. Spoon another 1/3 cup of gravy over the turkey.

Add the stuffing on top of the turkey layer and press it down to make an even layer.

Top with the last 1/3 cup of gravy and 1/2 cup of dried cranberries. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

This Turkey and Stuffing casserole is so delicious and each bite feels like a taste of Thanksgiving. It is also a great way to serve up Thanksgiving leftovers.
