Instructions *** 11-24-18 updated *** 11-17-17 updated and modfied from first attempt *** 11-4-17 very good, this is from memory *** put chicken/turkey remains in pot add 1 gallon water cook low for 8 hours or so, simmer, covered strain and pick bones, adding meat back to liquid in cooking pot saute celery (5 stalk) carrots(5 medium) onion (1 large diced)chopper till softened add cooked liquid to pot add salt, pepper, a little red pepper flakes, italian seasoning cook add can diced tomato add can peas add 1 cup brown rice add can corn add garlic powder add chicken/turkey meat from left overs (1 1/2 cups or so chopped in bite size pieces) add a handful of cranberries if you wish season to taste (italian seasoning, etc) simmer 6 hrs to blend flavors This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
