6-12-2011 adapted from hoe down bbq chuck roast recipe, very good and tender (well after 9 hrs !)
1 - boneless beef chuck roast (4 lb), 2 inches thick
1/4 - cup sugar
1/2 - cup worcestershire sauce
1/2 - cup ketchup
1/4 - cup red wine vinegar
1 - 2 - tb garlic powder
1/8 - tsp pepper
2 bottles beer

mix all ingredirents together in crock pot

add roast

cook 9 hrs on low
