*** 1-3-06 good but i used a fresh ham bone and smoked would be better *** meaty ham bone 2 # green split peas 1 lg onion chopped 4 bay leaves 2 t salt 1/2 t celery salt 1/2 t marjoram dried 1/4 t thyme 4 qt hot water 3 lg carrots finely chopped 3 celery stalks chopped Sautee onions, carrots, celery Place all ingredients in cooker.
