Instructions *** 8-23-21 tried this as we had some oysters, it worked!!!! very tasty *** 8 oz can chicken of the sea whole oysters corn meal butter (aout half a stick)( add some oil if pan gets dry during second batch) salt and pepper open and drain oysters in bowl mix corn meal and salt and pepper add the oysters and toss to cover well, add some more corn meal if needed melt butter in small fry pan add half the oysters, cook 3 minutes turning once at 2 minutes remove to a paper plate (absorbs some of the excess butter) cook the second bunch serve with some home made tartar sauce enjoy This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
